Seeds of Reconciliation Lecture Series 2024

Under the auspices of Interfaith Montgomery, this lectures series aims to promote community dialogue by:

  • cultivating an environment in which people of different races, faiths, and backgrounds can come together in a way that fosters relationship-building
  • providing informative opportunities for Montgomery residents to learn about the different faith traditions and backgrounds of their fellow community members

The 2024 lecture series has been curated by Dr. Gregory P. Meyjes of JustCulture Consulting, LLC, and will include Mr. Muaath Al-Khattab, Organizer with the Montgomery Hub of Faith in Action Alabama and member of the Muslim community; Rev. Lynn Hopkins, Pastor of Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Montgomery; Rev. Elizabeth O’Neill, Pastor of Immanuel Presbyterian of Montgomery; and Rev. Manuel B. Williams, Director of Resurrection Catholic Missions of the South; as well as Dr. Gregory P. Meyjes himself who is a member of the Baha’i community.

With a focus on the spiritual values we hold in common, the diverse presenters for this series will showcase various efforts to uplift humanity.
