Welcome
Interfaith Montgomery is a membership organization and forum for faith leaders to dialogue about issues that affect Montgomery and the world. Our objectives are to learn from and with one another and to promote respect for our diversity of cultures and faith groups.
What can we do to better community for those who live here and those who visit?
Visitors from outside Montgomery have poured in to engage with the history of slavery and segregation since the opening of the Equal Justice Initiative’s National Memorial for Peace and Justice and Legacy Museum. But it’s not only tourists who are grappling with the legacy of this nation’s history of racial injustice and its continued manifestations.
The members of Interfaith Montgomery are asking themselves: “Why would anyone want to visit Montgomery beyond engagement with these cultural spaces? What can we do as change agents to better community for those who live here and those who visit? Can Montgomery really be a “City of Dreams”?
Thank you for your interest and involvement in this learning.
