Fearless Dialogue on Race and Equity

Interfaith Montgomery members will dialogue on race and equity work in February 2021. This opportunity has been provided by E Pluribus Unum, an organization that “catalyzes courageous Southern leadership”.

IM was formed by diverse faith leaders for camaraderie and learning. An educational benefit of the upcoming dialogue, to be facilitated by Rev. Alicia Gordon of EPU, will be improved participation in societal discourse. This learning effort also stands to deepen and strengthen member relationships.

EPU will help IM determine next steps if the dialogue reveals that the organization would like to take action together on race and equity issues.

The dialogue will be held over the course of two weeks in three 90 minute online sessions. Those interested in participating are asked to attend all sessions.

The first two sessions will be held on Thursday, February 11 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. The third session will be held on Tuesday, February 16 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.

A link for these dialogue sessions will be mailed to members in early February.
