What can faith leaders do to better community for those who live here and those who visit?
Visitors from outside Montgomery have poured in to engage with the history of slavery and segregation since the opening of the Equal Justice Initiative’s National Memorial for Peace and Justice and Legacy Museum. But it’s not only tourists who are grappling with the legacy of this nation’s history of racial injustice and its continued manifestations.
Why would anyone want to visit Montgomery beyond engagement with these cultural spaces? What can faith leaders do as change agents to better community for those who live here and those who visit? Can Montgomery really be a “City of Dreams”?
